I heard this Chairlift song several months back, but only recently checked out their video. To my surprise, they use data moshing to create the psychedlic effect in the video. Coolbeans. Love this song.

I finally had the chance to check out Muji. I left the store with this souvenir--a t-shirt squished into a small cube. I was just way too curious to not buy this one. Apparently, what comes out is an insanely wrinkled t-shirt. If Miuccia can make an entire iron-challenged collection look darn good, then I had to try this cheaper thrill out. Out of its wrapper, the t-shirt was hard to pry apart and had very much the consistency of crumpled paper. It even looked like paper.

I can't wait until someone asks me, "Ahem, I think you really need to iron your shirt," to which I'll giddily respond, "It's supposed to be like this!" Woo.
love this t-shirt, it soooo looks like paper!! It looks awesome on you too!!! xoxo

weeeeee I have this too, love how it came so small, I still have it crunched up so I can keep the wrinkles, perfect piece of clothing, no folding or ironing needed, just strew it on the bed however you like, eh. (i did cut the neckline cuz it was too tight :P) Love how you paired it, so summery!

ok methinks it should be washed crinkled up, so tied up with rubberband like you would tye die. (I wonder how well that'd wash...) OR you could wash it normally, and then dry it scrunched up like that! cut the neck cut the neck!

I´ve never heared about Muji but I love it :DD where do they sell those awesome shirt, it doesn´t look like fabric at all :DD cool

Today was a blue jeans kind of day. So tomorrow, I head off to NYC on the primary mission of finding some raw food joints. My boyfriend and I have been experimenting with raw food for a few weeks now and it's been an up and down ride--up because we're definitely feeling and seeing some changes (clearer skin and general sense of wellbeing), but down because it's expensive, time consuming (dehydrating, researching recipes, juicing, finding the right ingredients), and the calorie intake feels unsustainable. Sometimes you just need a burger. OMNOMNOM.

I never wrote this. Must now go hide from the raw food community.
hi sophia! i really dig your blog, and appreciate your visit to mine! just an fyi- i want to link you up on my blog. i love your fashion and musical tastes, and the fact that you incorporate music + fashion on your site. i love to see bloggers doing the same; and i am attempting that myself. i mean, fashion and music are sometimes simultaneous, no? cheers!

that second picture is awesome!!

This street is near where my boyfriend and I live. It's primarily docking stations and warehouses there, so even though it doesn't make for the most entertaining walk it does make for pretty sweet photo backdrops. Pardon the death stare in each and every one of these photos. Frigid weather compounded with the stress and lack of sleep from school = death stare. Bah.

@karen

i believe i got the jacket ~2 years ago at H&M. i didn't start wearing it until this year! if you're looking for a good price-range high quality leather jacket, i know Zara had some amazing ones!

Love this outfit that skirt looks so pretty. I'm on the hunt for a pretty white lace skirt or dress.

I've been bubbling over with jewelry DIY ideas for the last couple of weeks. But with an internship, board exams, and school, I've barely had any time to get crafty. No more excuses though. Using vintage pearls, aurora borealis beads, pewter skulls, oversized safety pins, topped off with a Swarovski aurora borealis crystal, I crafted the necklace below. It's a funky and badass play on the classic pearl necklace. I can't wait to wear this over a sweater or blouse soon for a little bit of edge.
What a fabulous idea!!! So incredibly chic!

That is so awesome, I could see the girls in my Beautiful list all wearing one like it! :)

this is amazingg! & thanks for the comment! The camera that I use is the Canon EOS 300D, it's my dad's old camera. lol.

ps. i LOVEE your hair! My hair used to be that long - then i made the horrible mistake of cutting it. *sighs* now ill just have to wait it out!

The necklace is amazing!!!!
Adore the half tints below. I'd buy them too, they're a better shape for my face than the originals they're conceived upon.

This is incredibly amazing! You did so well with this DIY. It has a great Balmain Spring 09 vibe.

That has got to be the world's most beautiful necklace! It's so edgy, but still sophisticated, I would seriously wear it. <3

It reminds me of Tom Binns... I like <3
